Web Shows
If you haven't watched shows on the web, you really should take a look at some. I found a few series that makes me laugh, and some deeper appreciation. Here's the links:

There is a different class of webshow that is distributed instead. Sanctuary was the first one that I spotted and became a TV series

A call for more fun science
At this point in history, there is a tendency for people to ignore rational endeavours and lean towards the irrational.
So, I am attempting to reduce that trend and provide some fun science to learn and enjoy!
This has a bunch of fun stuff to watch and learn about basic scientific facts and more deep learning.

Converting Video for the iPhone with Linux
There are a few obstacles using the iPhone when it comes to Linux. Hopefully there will be workarounds for getting files onto an iPhone or iPod touch (version 2 or 3) using Linux. At this time, I haven't found a solution that puts data directly onto the iPod music/video sync area (unless you jailbreak it)
However, there is good news! A sweet application called Air Sharing from Avatron makes it possible to put files from almost any computer, including Linux.

Adventures in DIY I: The Blue Light Project
One of the reasons I chose my house in Edmonton was the design. It was a loft style, with vaulted ceilings and lots of open wall space. Modern and minimal, just how I liked it.
And like it I did, except something eventually dawned on me: there was a bit too much open wall space. The tallest wall in the living room was 2 stories high, and the staircase flanking the room also had a high wall. It was a whole lot of white.
